Breakthrough Minerals Announces High-Grade Copper Results at Barbara
- Initial assay results from Barbara Copper-Gold Project confirm resource growth potential
- Hole 26BAR001 shows a wider and higher-grade Main Lode within the South Pit
- Hole 26BAR002 confirms mineralization extends beyond current resource boundary
- Hole 26BAR003 shows a wider and higher-grade Main Lode in the North Pit
- Drilling is ongoing with further results pending
Breakthrough Minerals Limited (ASX: BTM) has reported initial assay results from the first three holes of its maiden diamond drilling program at the Barbara Copper-Gold Project (BCGP), part of the North Queensland Copper-Gold Project (NQCG) in Queensland. The results confirm high-grade copper mineralization within the existing resource footprint and demonstrate continuity of mineralization below the current resource boundary, supporting both resource growth and depth extension opportunities. Hole 26BAR001, drilled within the South Pit, returned 35m @ 1.34% Cu including 18m @ 2.18% Cu and 11m @ 3.02% Cu. Hole 26BAR002, drilled down-dip from the current resource boundary, returned 36m @ 0.52% Cu including 3m @ 2.17% Cu and 8m @ 1.07% Cu. Hole 26BAR003, drilled within the North Pit, returned 18m @ 0.82% Cu including 6m @ 2.16% Cu. These results validate the geological model and reinforce the potential for significant resource growth at Barbara. Drilling is ongoing, and further results will be reported progressively.
