Desert Metals Limited has announced exceptional results from a maiden soil sampling program at the Nyan prospect, part of the Adzope Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The soil sampling program, which included 335 samples on a 400m x 100m grid, identified a large, coherent gold-in-soil anomaly extending approximately 7km with peak values of 6,036 ppb (6.04 g/t) gold and 3,626 ppb (3.63 g/t) gold. The anomaly is located directly along strike from the Company's King Kong discovery, where drilling previously returned 17m at 7.5 g/t gold. The Nyan anomaly is entirely untested by drilling and is considered a high priority target. The Company plans to conduct infill soil sampling, ground geophysics, and a maiden oxide aircore drilling program of approximately 135 holes for ~6,750m to drill-test the high-grade zones.
