MC2.ASX: Marimaca Copper Reports Significant Copper-Silver Intersections at Pampa Medina
- Drilling at Pampa Medina intersects 16m of 5.70% Cu and 62.6 g/t Ag
- High-grade mineralization extends across a 3km x 1.5km area
- SPRD-05 hole intersects 96m at 1.19% Cu and 11.7g/t Ag
- Drilling indicates strong lateral continuity and potential for expansion
- Initial Mineral Resource Estimate planned post-delineation campaign
Marimaca Copper Corp. reports additional assay results from its ongoing drilling program at the Pampa Medina deposit in Chile. Drilling continues to demonstrate continuity of ultra-high-grade copper-silver mineralization across the central zone of the deposit. SPRD-05 intersected 96m at 1.19% Cu and 11.7g/t Ag, including 16m at 5.70% Cu and 62.6g/t Ag and 4m at 11.32% Cu and 144.0 g/t Ag. The sediment-hosted system shows strong lateral continuity across the defined area of interest, reinforcing the significant scale of the deposit. The Company plans to complete a 150m-spaced campaign across the initial area of interest, after which an initial Mineral Resource Estimate will be prepared.
The continuity of high-grade intersections gives increasing confidence that the central area of interest can support a strong mineral endowment while remaining open for expansion.
