Carnaby Resources Limited (ASX: CNB) has announced significant new drill results from the Greater Duchess Copper Gold Project in Mount Isa, Queensland. The Miniboom Lode discovery has been confirmed with results from two additional RC holes intersecting broad zones of high-grade mineralization. The most notable result is from hole MHRC298, which intersected 50m at 2.7% CuEq, including a high-grade interval of 31m at 4.0% CuEq. The Trek 1 discovery has also expanded with an RC hole intersecting 85m at 1.7% CuEq, including 12m at 7.3% CuEq and 5m at 15.6% CuEq. The Miniboom discovery is located in a new dilational bend in the Boomerang Lode vein structure, while the Trek 1 discovery links the Main Lode and Footwall Lodes. Both discoveries are near the planned Mount Hope Central Ore Reserve open pit, potentially adding significant value to the project.
