Meteoric Resources NL has reported outstanding performance from the Caldeira Pilot Plant in Brazil. The plant, commissioned in late 2025, processed approximately 43 tonnes of ore from the Capão do Mel starter pit, achieving higher than forecast rare earth oxide (REO) recoveries. Magnet rare earth oxide (MREO) recoveries averaged 71%, with exceptional 80% MREO recoveries and 74% total rare earth oxide (TREO) recoveries achieved in May. The plant also met benchmarks for MREC impurities below 2% and output above 2kg per day. Positive feedback from offtake partners supports the quality of the product. The operating data provides a strong basis for the Definitive Feasibility Study and the scale-up of equipment packages at the commercial plant.
