Elixir Energy Limited (ASX: EXR) has provided an operational update on the Lorelle-3H appraisal well in ATP2056 within Queensland's Taroom Trough. The Diagnostic Fracture Injection Test (DFIT) at the toe end of the Lorelle-3H well was successfully completed, indicating a preliminary reservoir pressure of approximately 6,350 psi, consistent with expectations. The closure-pressure results for the Tinowon 'Dunk' Sandstone formation at 8,759 psi indicate the ability to maintain the fractures within the targeted formation. Due to the quality of the results observed during the DFIT and minor incremental costs, the number of stimulation stages has been increased to 12. Mobilisation and rigging up of the stimulation and well testing equipment are underway, with stimulation operations expected to commence on schedule towards the end of the week.

Elixir Energy expects to commence stimulation operations on schedule towards the end of the week, following the successful completion of the DFIT and favorable closure-pressure results.
