ClearView Wealth Limited (ASX: CVW) announced that the Supreme Court of New South Wales has ordered a meeting of ClearView shareholders to consider and vote on the proposed acquisition by Zurich Financial Services Australia Limited. The meeting, referred to as the Scheme Meeting, will be held on 27 July 2026. The Court also approved the despatch of the explanatory statement, known as the Scheme Booklet, which provides detailed information about the Scheme and includes the notice of the Scheme Meeting. The ClearView Directors unanimously recommend that shareholders vote in favor of the Scheme, subject to certain conditions.
ClearView Wealth Ltd expects the acquisition by Zurich to proceed as planned, pending shareholder approval at the Scheme Meeting.
