Galilee Energy Limited has successfully completed the construction of the Zydeco-1 drilling site in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. This marks a significant milestone as the company transitions from planning and construction activities into the final stages of preparation for drilling. The completed site includes the access road, drilling pad, and equipment staging areas required to support the upcoming drilling campaign. The project is now focused on final mobilization activities ahead of the commencement of drilling operations, with spud scheduled for the 1st week of July 2026. Zydeco-1 is targeting a large conventional Gulf Coast unrisked gas accumulation of 13.7 BCFG and 610,000 barrels of condensate identified through modern geological interpretation and supported by recently acquired 3D survey data. This project represents the first step in Galilee's strategy to build a scalable US Gulf Coast oil and gas business, with follow-on opportunities identified to be drilled leveraging success at Zydeco-1.
