Polymetals Reports High-Grade Mineralization at Endeavor Mine
- Reinterpretation of historical data suggests smaller collapse area
- Drilling confirms high-grade mineralization remains intact
- Best assay results include 304 g/t Ag, 8.5% Zn, 5.9% Pb and 0.16% Cu
- Drilling program aims to define mineralisation continuity and scale
- Potential to add high-grade mineralisation to mining inventory
Polymetals Resources Ltd has announced positive results from an underground diamond drilling program at its Endeavor Mine in Cobar, New South Wales. The drilling has confirmed the presence of high-grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization in the upper Main Lode, adjacent to an area previously affected by a 1996 ground collapse. The reinterpretation of historical data suggests the collapse area may be smaller than previously thought, opening up new opportunities to access intact mineralisation. The first 12 holes of a 34-hole drilling campaign have returned significant intersections, including 45.2 m @ 197 g/t Ag, 8.9% Zn, 11.0% Pb and 0.18% Cu. The ongoing drilling program aims to define the continuity and scale of the mineralization, with the potential to add significant high-grade material to the mining inventory.
Polymetals is optimistic about the potential to increase the mining inventory at the Endeavor Mine, pending the results of the ongoing drilling program.
