Miramar Resources Announces Gravity Survey Results at Joy Helen Prospect
- Gravity survey identified new gravity anomalies beneath high-grade Cu-Pb-Ag mineralisation
- High-grade samples up to 14.7% Cu, 26.7% Pb, and 67ppm Ag
- Auger drilling results expected in July, further exploration planned
Miramar Resources Limited (ASX:M2R) has announced that a detailed gravity survey at the high-grade Joy Helen copper-lead-silver (Cu-Pb-Ag) prospect within the Chain Pool Project in Western Australia has identified gravity anomalies that may represent buried mineralisation. The survey, conducted on a 50m x 50m grid, revealed two residual gravity anomalies to the east of the Joy Helen workings, which have not been drill-tested to date. High-grade samples from the anomalies include up to 5.5% Cu, 42% Pb, and 73.5 ppm Ag from the southern anomaly and up to 14.7% Cu, 26.7% Pb, and 67ppm Ag from the northern anomaly. The Bouguer and first vertical derivative images suggest NW-trending linear features interpreted as normal faults associated with the rifting of the Edmund Basin. The company is awaiting assay results from auger drilling completed in May and is planning further exploration, including geophysics and the first dedicated bedrock drilling campaign.
