Full Summary

INOVIQ Limited, a biotechnology company developing exosome-based diagnostics and therapeutics, announced positive in vitro proof-of-concept data demonstrating the tumour-killing activity of its CAR-exosome platform in ovarian cancer cell lines. The study evaluated the efficacy of CA125- and EGFR-targeting CAR-exosomes across three ovarian cancer cell lines, showing rapid tumour cell killing. CA125-targeting CAR-exosomes achieved more than 90% killing in OVCAR-3 and Caov-3 cell lines, while EGFR-targeting CAR-exosomes eliminated over 80% of tumour cells in the same models. In the SK-OV-3 cell line, both CAR-exosome approaches achieved approximately 50% tumour cell killing. These results support the potential of INOVIQ's CAR-exosome platform as a next-generation, off-the-shelf, cell-free therapeutic for hard-to-treat solid tumours, including ovarian cancer.

Outlook

INOVIQ is progressing manufacturing readiness, including GMP cell sourcing, CDMO selection and CAR-exosome optimisation.
