Racura Treats First Patient in HARNESS-1 Lung Cancer Trial

Race Oncology Ltd. has announced the initiation of the HARNESS-1 Phase 1 clinical trial for RC220, a potential treatment for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The trial, which began with the treatment of the first patient, is evaluating RC220 in combination with osimertinib, a standard-of-care tyrosine kinase inhibitor. The first patient was treated at Monash Health, and no adverse events were observed. The trial aims to address the challenge of osimertinib resistance in EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients. The study will progress through dose escalation and expansion stages to identify the maximum tolerated dose and assess safety and clinical activity.
