Regis Resources Ltd (ASX: RRL) has released its mid-year exploration update, detailing progress across its Duketon, McPhillamys, and Tropicana assets. At Duketon, the initial open pit Mineral Resource Estimate for Beamish South was declared at 7 million tonnes grading 1.1 grams per tonne for 270,000 ounces within a A$3,900/oz pit shell. Drilling at Garden Well confirmed strong mineralization both within and up to 500 meters down plunge from existing resources. Drilling at Rosemont Stage 3 confirmed the quartz-dolerite host extends further south. At McPhillamys, drilling confirmed gold mineralization extending to at least 180 meters from surface. Tropicana drilling results were highly encouraging, demonstrating mineralisation extension down-plunge. Regis remains confident in the quality and scale of its asset base.
