- Auger soil sampling at Henderson Tenement shows gold anomalies extending areas of interest
- Significant Co-Cu-Ni anomaly identified in Youanmi Base Metals Project
- Research and development program initiated for titanium extraction from Youanmi ore
- Copper Hills tenement sold to reduce annual tenement expenditure
Venus Metals Corporation Limited has provided an update on its exploration activities at the Henderson Tenement and Youanmi Base Metals Project. Auger soil sampling at Henderson identified gold anomalies extending areas of interest, particularly at Snake Hill, Blue Well South, and 18 Mile Well. The Snake Hill prospect, located at a bend in the Ida Fault, returned up to 88ppb gold. Additionally, wider spaced sampling confirmed gold enrichment proximal to major faults. The Youanmi Base Metals Project identified a significant northeast trending Co-Cu-Ni anomaly, with copper concentrations up to 722ppm. The company has also commenced a research and development program with Murdoch University to assess processing methods for extracting titanium from the Youanmi vanadiferous titano-magnetite resource. Furthermore, the company has sold its Copper Hills tenement to reduce annual tenement expenditure, retaining a 1% net smelter royalty.
