Forrestania Resources Ltd has announced the acquisition of the Edna May Gold Hub from Ramelius Resources Limited for a total consideration of A$300 million. The acquisition includes the Edna May Mill, associated infrastructure, and a 945koz Au JORC Mineral Resource. The acquisition is expected to complete in Q3 CY2026, subject to certain conditions, including shareholder approval and the completion of an equity raising. Forrestania plans to restart the Edna May Mill in the first half of 2027 and supply ore from its existing proximate Mineral Resources. The acquisition complements Forrestania's existing Lake Johnston processing hub and advances its strategy to consolidate high-quality gold assets in the region.
