Po Valley Energy Limited (ASX: PVE) has achieved a significant regulatory milestone by filing an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) with Italy's Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) for a four-well drilling program in the Selva Malvezzi Production Concession. This program targets the significant gas potential of the concession, which is close to the existing Podere Maiar 1 well. The EIA filing is a crucial step towards contributing to energy security in the Emilia-Romagna region. Po Valley Operations Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Po Valley Energy, is the operator of the concession and owns a 63% working interest, with the remaining 37% held by Prospex Energy Group. The four wells will be drilled near the existing SNAM National pipeline, enhancing local industry efficiency. The company plans to commence the drilling program in 2027, subject to Ministry approval.
