Lunnon Metals Limited (ASX: LM8) has released an update on the Hustler gold deposit, located near the active Lady Herial gold open pit in the St Ives gold camp. The company conducted a 36-hole reverse circulation drill program to de-risk the deposit, achieving a nominal 20m x 20m spacing. Significant gold intercepts were reported, including 6.8m @ 2.75 g/t Au and 10.4m @ 1.39 g/t Au. Three diamond drill holes were also completed for metallurgical test work, simulating the process flow at the nearby Lefroy Gold Plant. The company is updating the Mineral Resource estimation for Hustler and is working on open pit optimizations and permitting activities.
The company is reviewing mining scenarios for both Hustler and Lady Herial, with a focus on optimizing unit operating costs. A Scoping Study for both deposits is planned once the analysis is complete.
