GoldArc Resources Limited (ASX:GA8) has completed the first phase of grade control drilling at the Mt Stirling gold deposit in Western Australia. Assay results from the majority of samples indicate elevated gold grades and wide zones of mineralisation, consistent with prior drilling results. The results are being used to update mining models and mine planning in preparation for the anticipated approval of the Mining and Development Closure Plan (MDCP). Approximately 21,597 meters of the 34,000-meter grade control program have been completed. Grade control drilling is also ongoing at the adjacent Mt Stirling Well deposit, with the second batch of results reported in this announcement. GoldArc and BML Ventures are progressing towards the anticipated MDCP approval, which is a regulatory requirement before mining operations can commence at Mt Stirling.
Subject to MDCP approval, GoldArc Resources looks forward to mining commencing at Mt Stirling and continuing work with BML Ventures.
