Inoviq Ltd announced that its EXO-OC algorithm, used for early detection of ovarian cancer, has been optimized to achieve 92.3% sensitivity for stage I/II ovarian cancer and 92.5% across all stages at 98% specificity. However, the samples from the retrospective clinical study were unsuitable for performance evaluation due to significant variability in sample quality from multiple biorepositories. The company plans to conduct future studies using samples collected under standardized protocols. Inoviq remains committed to commercializing the EXO-OC test as a Laboratory Developed Test in the US for early detection of ovarian cancer.
