New Copper Discoveries Boost Chalkos Project
- New Bootless prospect discovered in Namibia
- Significant extensions at Otniel and Donkey Hill
- Visual copper mineralisation observed in outcrops
- Assay results expected in 6-8 weeks
Kaoko Metals Limited has discovered outcropping copper mineralisation at the newly named Bootless prospect during its ongoing maiden fieldwork program at the Chalkos Copper-Silver Project in Namibia. The Bootless prospect is located within a 2.2-kilometre-long corridor between the known Otniel and Donkey Hill prospects, further expanding the potential of the project. Fieldwork has also extended the known footprint of surface copper mineralisation at both the Otniel and Donkey Hill prospects. Visible copper mineralisation has been observed in outcrops at Bootless, Otniel, and Donkey Hill. Laboratory assay results for the samples detailed in this announcement are expected to be received and released to the market in approximately six to eight weeks.
