AlgoraeOS v2 Validation at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
- Independent validation of AlgoraeOS v2 completed at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
- AOS2 demonstrated improved predictive accuracy compared to AOS1
- Identified promising drug combinations for further investigation
Algorae Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (ASX: 1AI) has reported successful independent validation of its AlgoraeOS v2 (AOS2) drug-combination prediction platform by the Victorian Centre for Functional Genomics at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. The validation study, led by Professor Kaylene Simpson and Dr. James McKenna, involved testing 24 drug combinations predicted by AOS2 in combination with CBD across four cancer cell models, generating approximately 10,000 data points. The results showed that AOS2 demonstrated improved accuracy compared to AOS1 by identifying a higher proportion of confirmed synergistic combinations relative to predicted outcomes. The Company plans to further investigate the most promising combinations and pursue intellectual property rights where applicable. Algorae will also initiate validation of its multi-anchor program, which is co-funded by a $49,109 Phenomics Australia Pipeline Accelerator voucher.
