Lorelle-3H commences transition into gas flows

Elixir Energy Limited has announced that its Lorelle-3H appraisal well in the Taroom Trough, Queensland, has successfully transitioned into gas flows. The well has completed plug milling and flowback operations, and a sustained gas breakthrough occurred after only 5 days of cleanup. The well is now transitioning from fluid to gas production, with gas rates increasing and fluid rates declining. Elixir Energy is set to commence production testing in July to observe peak gas-condensate rates and initial decline rates.

Elixir Energy expects to achieve optimal peak gas production rates and ultimate recovery from the well as it continues to draw down the well further.
