Invictus Energy Ltd (ASX: IVZ) has announced the award of key contracts for the construction of the Musuma-1 wellpad and associated civil works, marking a significant step in the preparation for drilling in the Cabora Bassa Project, Zimbabwe. The awarded contracts cover wellpad construction, civil works, and the mobilisation of logistics and support services. Exalo S.A., the contractor for Rig 202, is mobilising a team to Zimbabwe to commence in-country setup and critical maintenance activities. The evaluation of well services provision is well advanced, with the award of these contracts expected in the coming weeks. The company has also prepared a logistics and mobilisation plan to ensure seamless mobilisation of services required for the upcoming drilling campaign. The Musuma-1 exploration well remains on track for spudding in H2 2026.
