Meteoric Resources Announces 246% Increase in Caldeira Project Measured Resources
- Measured Resources across the Caldeira Project increase 246% to 128Mt @ 2,815 ppm TREO
- Conversion of Indicated to Measured Resources resulting in increase from 11Mt to 102Mt across three deposits considered in DFS
- Improved understanding of resource characteristics supports efficiencies in mine planning and operational reliability
Meteoric Resources Limited has announced an updated Global Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Caldeira Rare Earth Element Ionic Clay Project in Brazil. The measured resources have increased by 246% to 128 million tonnes at 2,815 parts per million Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO). The conversion of indicated resources to measured resources has also resulted in an increase from 11 million tonnes to 102 million tonnes across three deposits considered in the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). The improved understanding of resource characteristics is expected to support efficiencies in mine planning and operational reliability, leading to more precise mine scheduling, better recovery, and grade control.
Measured Resources across the Caldeira Project increase 246% to 128Mt @ 2,815 ppm TREO
The conversion of Indicated to Measured Resources increases confidence in the upcoming DFS and development of the Project, reducing risk and uncertainty, improving financial credibility, and supporting investment and financing decisions.
