Carpentaria-5H IP30 Flow Test Results Announced
- Peak rate of >14 TJ/day achieved
- Average rate of 6.9 TJ/day over 30 days
- Exit rate of 6.7 TJ/day
Beetaloo Energy Australia Limited has announced the successful completion of the IP30 flow testing for the Carpentaria-5H well. The well achieved a peak rate of over 14 TJ/day, an average rate of 6.9 TJ/day over the 30-day testing period, and an exit rate of 6.7 TJ/day. The well exhibited a low rate of decline, demonstrating the potential long-term gas deliverability of the resource. Water production declined significantly during the test, reflecting the larger completion design of the well. The well has now been shut in and will be tied in for production along with the Carpentaria-2H and Carpentaria-3H wells, in anticipation of the commissioning of the Carpentaria Gas Plant and first gas sales from the Pilot Project.
Beetaloo Energy anticipates first gas sales from the Pilot Project in the fourth quarter 2026.
Beetaloo Energy is focused on converting the resource opportunity into long-term value for shareholders.
