Kingfisher Mining Limited (ASX: KFM) announced high-grade assay results from the RC drilling program at the Copper Blow Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) prospect. Significant results include 26m @ 2.57% Cu and 0.75 g/t Au from 73m, and 43m @ 1.32% Cu and 0.32 g/t Au from 0m. Drilling extended high-grade sulphide mineralisation further toward a major cross fault, confirming mineralisation remains open at depth and along strike. The results represent another significant step towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at Copper Blow. Kingfisher's processing agreement with Broken Hill Mines, whose concentrator is located approximately 20km from Copper Blow, provides a clear, low-capital-cost pathway to any future development.
The results from the Copper Blow drilling program support the potential for a substantial copper inventory and a low-cost, high-margin operation leveraging existing processing infrastructure in Broken Hill.
