Mount Ridley Mines Announces Scandium Re-Assay Results
Key Points
  • Re-assay results confirm additional high-grade scandium mineralisation
  • Significant broad, near-surface scandium intercepts returned exceptional grades
  • Mineralisation extends beyond current Block 2 Resource boundaries
  • Phase 2 of the Re-Assay Program set to commence this week
Full Summary

Mount Ridley Mines Ltd (ASX: MRD) has announced that re-assay results from the Block 2 Resource area have confirmed and expanded the known scandium mineralised footprint. The re-assay program has identified extensive scandium mineralisation beyond the current Mineral Resource Estimate boundaries, with numerous high-grade intersections exceeding the existing Block 2 Resource grade of 86.9 ppm Sc2O3. Key highlights include 19m at 127.68 ppm Sc2O3 and 24m at 114.54 ppm Sc2O3, among others. These results support the Company's view that the Grass Patch Complex hosts a much larger scandium mineralised system than currently defined. The distribution of high-grade intersections suggests that the mineralised system remains open in all directions, providing multiple high-priority targets for follow-up drilling aimed at expanding the existing Mineral Resource Estimate. Phase 2 of the Re-Assay Program is set to commence this week, with approximately 2,000 historical pulps due to be collected.

Outlook

The re-assay results significantly enhance the exploration potential of Block 2, with numerous high-grade intersections indicating substantial potential for future resource growth. Phase 2 of the Re-Assay Program will further expand the understanding of the mineralised system.
