Synertec Corporation Limited (ASX: SOP) has executed contracts with Santos for the delivery of two additional Powerhouse systems for its GLNG operations, expanding the total number of contracted units to six. These new units, #5 and #6, will be deployed under a long-term Build, Own, Operate, and Maintain (BOOM) commercial model, consistent with the previous four units. Unit #5, featuring 250kW of solar and 1MWh of storage, is scheduled for installation in H1 FY27 and is expected to power 3 coal seam gas wells. Unit #6, with 300kW of solar and 1.5MWh of storage, is also scheduled for installation in H1 FY27 and will power 5 coal seam gas wells. These systems are part of Santos' strategy to reduce reliance on traditional energy supply chains and adopt cost-effective, low-emission energy solutions.
No specific financial guidance provided in the announcement.
Synertec is well-positioned to scale its Powerhouse technology across domestic and global markets, particularly in the energy, mining, and data center sectors.
