Elixir Energy Updates Lorelle-3H Flow Testing
- Lorelle-3H completed initial clean-up phase, recovering 32% of stimulation fluid.
- Dual phase rates reached up to 1,700 bbls/d fluid and 3 mmscfd gas.
- Gas and condensate samples collected for compositional analysis.
Elixir Energy Limited has provided an update on the Lorelle-3H appraisal well in the Taroom Trough, Queensland. The well has completed its initial clean-up phase, recovering approximately 32% of the injected stimulation fluids, which is a positive sign of reservoir connectivity. The well has demonstrated sustained dual phase production, with fluid rates up to 1,700 barrels per day and gas rates up to 3 million standard cubic feet per day. The absence of sand/proppant production indicates the integrity of the fracture stimulation network. Gas samples showed low impurity levels, with less than 1% CO2 and no H2S. The company plans to stabilize production by running a preprepared tubing string, which is expected to take up to 7 days. Post-tubing, the well will recommence production testing to achieve maximum gas and condensate production rates.
