Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (ASX: KCN) has provided an update on the remediation works at Plant 1 of the Chatree Gold Mine. The Company reports that remediation activities are progressing well, with the Ball Mill isolated and the SAG Mill 1 recommissioned in a closed-circuit configuration, enabling Plant 1 to restart successfully. The modified circuit has allowed for a throughput increase to approximately 130 wet tonnes per hour, restoring around 50% of Plant 1's normal processing capacity. Remediation works on the Ball Mill are also being fast-tracked, including the removal of bearings and procurement of replacement lubrication system components. Mining operations continue uninterrupted, with efforts to maximize head grades during the period of reduced Plant 1 capacity.
