Andean Silver Identifies Bonanza Grade Exploration Prospect
- Andean Silver identifies a new exploration prospect with bonanza-grade mineralization.
- Surface sampling returns assays of up to 62,663g/t AgEq.
- The Juanita Prospect has potential to host a significant silver-gold system.
Andean Silver Limited has identified a new exploration prospect, named the Juanita Prospect, at its Cerro Bayo Silver-Gold Project in Chile. Surface sampling has returned assays of up to 62,663g/t Silver equivalent (AgEq), highlighting the prospect's potential to host a significant silver-gold system. The Juanita Prospect is located approximately 6km east from the Laguna Verde processing facility and is situated within a regionally significant NNW to NS trending structural zone. The prospect features multiple mineralising events and favourable host rocks, suggesting it could host a large and significant silver-gold breccia mineralised system. The company plans to undertake further geological mapping and sawn channel sampling to better define the extent of the high-grade silver-gold mineralisation before drill testing.
