Triangle Energy (Global) Ltd (ASX:TEG) has appointed Bryan Hughes of 101 Advisory as Voluntary Administrator for itself and its wholly-owned subsidiaries: Triangle (Perth Basin) Pty Ltd, Triangle Energy Onshore Pty Ltd, and Triangle Energy Offshore Pty Ltd. The decision follows Triangle's inability to meet its potential decommissioning obligations under the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006 (Cth). The Voluntary Administrator will work with regulators, agencies, and creditors to assess options and maximize outcomes for all stakeholders.
