Premier1 Lithium Ltd (ASX:PLC) has announced promising results from its reconnaissance Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the Rochefort Gold Prospect within the Abbotts North Gold Project. The drilling has revealed anomalous gold up to 0.4 g/t Au, associated with albite alteration, sulphidation, and pathfinder geochemistry, suggesting a potential gold system to the northwest. Additionally, a high-resolution airborne survey has identified a new, entirely untested regional gold target corridor along the eastern margin of the Abbotts Greenstone Belt. Follow-up RC drilling at Rochefort is planned under existing approvals, while detailed interpretation of the airborne survey data is underway to refine drill targeting across the new corridor.

The company is optimistic about the potential for significant gold discoveries at Rochefort and across the newly identified regional corridor.
