D3 Energy has successfully commenced drilling at Nooitgedacht in South Africa, marking the start of its drilling program in the northwestern part of its 100%-owned ER315 permit. The drilling targets the Witwatersrand formation to evaluate reservoir deliverability and collect data on helium and methane concentrations. This initiative aims to increase the company's reserve base in ER315 and convert additional exploration right areas into production rights. The Nooitgedacht area, located 43 km north of Bloemskraal, is part of the Homestead Fault that runs through the northern section of ER315. The drilling program includes two wells, NGT245 E and NGT245 D, which will be executed by the same contractor who completed the company's initial drilling program.
