Viridis Mining and Minerals Limited announced that its Demonstration Plant has exceeded the metallurgical recovery assumptions set in the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS). The plant achieved an average of 79% Mixed Rare Earth Oxides (MREO) and 64% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) in July 2026, surpassing the PFS assumptions of 76% MREO and 57% TREO. The plant has been operating reliably under continuous 24-hour automated conditions, validating the Colossus flowsheet and demonstrating the potential for improved project economics. Ongoing optimization initiatives are expected to further enhance recoveries as the company progresses towards the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). The plant's success has also provided tangible proof of the process's reliability and high-quality production, serving as a critical de-risking tool for the Colossus Project.
