Sun Silver Expands Maverick Silver Project
- Acquired Bayan Springs North Project from Bayan Mining and Minerals Ltd
- Staked 106 additional lode claims, expanding landholding
- Control of 15km northwest corridor now secured
- New Northern Target identified with promising geochemical signatures
- Ongoing 2026 drill program expected to yield results soon
Sun Silver Limited has executed a binding agreement to acquire the 100% owned Bayan Springs North Project from Bayan Mining and Minerals Ltd and staked an additional 106 lode mining claims, securing continuous ownership across the emerging northwest mineralised trend of the Maverick Silver Project. The acquisition and staking provide uninterrupted control of the Company's evolving geological model and ensure ownership of the entire interpreted mineralised corridor extending northwest from the existing 539Moz AgEq Maverick Silver Deposit. Exploration has identified a compelling new exploration corridor extending well beyond the current Mineral Resource footprint, with a 2km arsenic-antimony anomaly approximately 4.5km north of the Maverick mineral resource area. The consideration payable for the acquisition includes cash payments and a contingent payment upon achieving a specific drill intersection. The Company is well positioned to continue demonstrating the broader scale potential of the Maverick Silver Project with its ongoing 2026 drill program.
