- Resource definition drilling at Zopkhito is 2 months ahead of schedule
- Four surface and 13 underground drill holes completed
- Metallurgical bulk sampling to start in coming weeks
Krakatoa Resources Limited (ASX: KTA) has reported significant progress in its 2026 resource definition and technical work program at the Zopkhito Antimony-Gold Project in Georgia. The drilling program is 2 months ahead of schedule, with four surface and 13 underground drill holes completed. Surface drilling is now operating on a 24-hour roster, with underground drilling set to follow suit. Initial drill core has been logged and sampled, and the first assay batch is being transported to the laboratory. Geological consultants have reviewed drill core and historical datasets, and metallurgical bulk sampling is scheduled to commence in the coming weeks. The program aims to validate historical data and generate geological information to support a maiden JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate at Zopkhito.
