Breakthrough Minerals Limited (ASX: BTM) reported its Quarterly Activities for the June 2026 quarter, highlighting significant progress in its North Queensland Copper-Gold Project (NQCG). The company completed a maiden diamond drilling program at the Barbara Copper-Gold Project, confirming resource growth opportunities within the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). Initial assay results from the first three holes indicated up to 35m @ 1.34% Cu, including 18m @ 2.18% Cu. Drilling has now shifted to the Hazel Creek Project, targeting extensions of copper-gold mineralisation to the north and at depth. Additionally, Breakthrough Minerals entered a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Wolfram Limited for the potential sale of the Mt Colin Mine camp, with proceeds intended to fund exploration at the NQCG. The company also completed a A$5.15 million institutional placement to support its expanded 10,000m diamond drilling campaign across the NQCG.
Breakthrough Minerals is well-positioned to benefit from future resource growth, rising demand for copper, and increasing strategic interest in quality copper assets within North Queensland.
