Trek Metals Commences Drilling at Kuro Manganese Discovery

Trek Metals Limited has commenced its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Kuro manganese discovery within the Christmas Creek Project in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The 72-hole drilling program has successfully logged visual manganese mineralisation in 63 of the holes, indicating broad zones of mineralisation across multiple locations. The company has also conducted Induced Polarisation (IP) surveys, which have shown a strong correlation with the visual manganese intercepts, validating IP as an effective targeting methodology. Initial assay results are expected in early August, and the company has remobilised the IP survey crew to extend coverage to the southeast, east, and west of existing drilling. The RC drill rig is currently testing other targets, including a high-priority IP target at Coogan, and will return to Kuro for further drilling once all assay and IP results have been received and interpreted. Additionally, Trek Metals has secured two co-funded geophysical survey grants as part of the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) for exploration at Christmas Creek. The company also announced a board succession, with Tony Leibowitz retiring as Chair and Director, succeeded by Andrew Reece, a significant shareholder who joined the board in 2025.
