West African Resources Ltd reported a record quarterly gold production of 125,179 ounces for Q2 2026, with no significant health or safety incidents. The company produced 125,179 ounces of gold at an all-in sustaining cost (AISC) of US$1,730 per ounce. Gold sales for the quarter were 110,737 ounces at an average realized price of US$4,556 per ounce. The company generated a Q2 cash flow from operating activities of A$249 million and held a cash balance of A$876 million with approximately A$247 million in unsold gold bullion. The company aims to report drilling results from Toega underground and further drilling results from M5. Discussions with Société de Participation Minière du Burkina Faso regarding its acquisition of a 25% shareholding in Kiaka SA are ongoing.
