Andromeda Metals Limited (ASX: ADN) has successfully completed the commissioning of its High Purity Alumina (HPA) pilot plant and has initiated the pilot plant optimization and testwork program. The program focuses on optimizing the continuous flowsheet process, advancing HPA product development, and evaluating opportunities to generate additional value through the production of co-products, including amorphous silica and gallium. The testwork program aims to produce commercial HPA samples for evaluation by potential customers and assess by-product materials for their potential to add further incremental value. HPA is a highly refined form of aluminum oxide used in high-growth markets such as LEDs, lithium-ion battery separators, and synthetic sapphire glass.
