Brightstar Resources Ltd. has announced its quarterly activities for the June 2026 period. The company has approved the Final Investment Decision for its 100%-owned Goldfields Project, which is set to commence gold production in June 2027 with an initial production target of approximately 75,000 ounces per annum over an initial mine life of six years. All necessary regulatory approvals have been received, including the Mining Development and Closure Proposal approval from the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration and the Part V Works Approval from the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation. Additionally, an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract has been executed with GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) for the new 1.5Mtpa Laverton Processing Plant. The company has also entered into a strategic framework agreement with Aquirian Limited (ASX:AQN) to partner for drill and blast mining services for the Goldfields Hub's open pit operations. Furthermore, Brightstar has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement and LNG Supply Agreement for the Laverton mill power station. The company ended the quarter with $122 million in cash on hand and undrawn net bond proceeds of $161 million, totaling $283 million in liquidity.
