Cynata Therapeutics Limited, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has released its Quarterly Activity Report for the three-month period ending 30 June 2026. The report highlights the results of the Phase 2 trial for CYP-001, which showed no significant differences in efficacy between the active and control groups. Consequently, the trial was terminated early. The Phase 3 trial for CYP-004 also showed no significant differences between groups in primary endpoints, though a secondary endpoint showed a reduction in knee pain intensity. Enrollment in the second cohort of the Phase 1/2 trial for CYP-001 is ongoing. The report also details substantial reductions in expenditure, including the redundancy of all employee positions and the reduction of the Board's size. The company has entered into a Research and Development Tax Incentive (R&D TI) loan facility for $600,000, secured against the Company's anticipated R&D TI rebate for the 2026 financial year.
