- Project located in highly prospective Murchison Gold Province
E79 Gold Mines Limited has executed a Heritage Protection Agreement with the Yugunga-Nya Traditional Owners for its 100%-owned Cue Gold Project in the Murchison Region of Western Australia. This agreement marks a significant milestone as the company prepares for its initial 10,000m air-core and reverse circulation drilling program. The Cue Gold Project is situated in the highly prospective Murchison Gold Province, immediately south of Westgold's Great Fingall Gold Mine. Historical drilling data from the project area has shown promising gold intersections, with notable results from various prospects including Ada, Chloe, and Transformer. The company has also submitted a Heritage Survey request to facilitate the planned drilling program, which will target cross-cutting structures within the Fingalls Dolerite and Meekatharra Formation greenstones. E79 Gold CEO Ned Summerhayes emphasized the importance of this agreement in ensuring responsible exploration activities and cultural heritage protection.
E79 Gold Mines anticipates the completion of the Heritage Survey and the initiation of the planned 10,000m drilling program, aiming to identify and evaluate high-grade gold deposits in the Cue Gold Project area.
