Elixir Energy Limited has announced the successful completion of the first phase of flow testing at the Lorelle-3H appraisal well in the Taroom Trough, Queensland. The well achieved peak rates of 10.4 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of gas and 10 barrels per day (bbls/d) of condensate, with stable rates averaging 2.35 mmscfd. The gas quality is excellent, with a high energy/sales conversion factor. The results confirm the Taroom Trough as a significant development opportunity. Key objectives were met, and the well is now ready for production. A 60-day soak is planned before further testing.
