Aldoro Resources Ltd: Kameelburg MRE Upgrade
- Updated Mineral Resource confirms Kameelburg as a globally significant rare earth system
- Contained NdPr oxide of approximately 1.37 million tonnes exceeds Mt Weld and Mountain Pass
- High-grade subset of 414.8 Mt @ 3.32% TREO Eq supports potential open-pit mining
Aldoro Resources Ltd announced an update to its Kameelburg Rare Earth Element-Strontium-Niobium Project in Namibia, reporting a significant increase in its Mineral Resource Estimate. The updated MRE now stands at 804.5 Mt with a grade of 2.90% TREO Eq, containing approximately 1.37 million tonnes of contained NdPr oxide. This upgrade positions Kameelburg as one of the largest undeveloped rare earth projects globally. Notably, the contained NdPr oxide on a contained-oxide basis exceeds the published contained NdPr of Lynas' Mt Weld deposit and MP Materials' Mountain Pass ore reserve. Additionally, the project has reported a maiden Indicated Mineral Resource of 162.1 Mt, which contains approximately 290,000 tonnes of NdPr oxide. The announcement underscores Kameelburg's potential as a significant emerging rare earth development project, supported by favorable infrastructure and encouraging metallurgical recoveries.
