Kalgoorlie Gold Mining Ltd. Announces Broad Gold Intercepts at Kirgella Gift
- 21 RC drill holes completed, extending known gold mineralisation
- Significant intercepts including 3m at 3.55 g/t Au and 28m at 1.15 g/t Au
- Mineralisation extends beyond current MRE, remaining open at depth
- Ongoing exploration at Pinjin Gold Project with further drill programs planned
Kalgoorlie Gold Mining Ltd. (ASX: KAL) has reported promising results from its RC drilling at Kirgella Gift and Providence, where the company previously defined a JORC Code (2012) Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 2.34 Mt @ 1.0 g/t Au for 76,400 oz. The drilling program, which completed 21 RC drill holes for 3,702m, successfully intersected thick zones of shear-hosted gold mineralisation. Notable intercepts include 3m at 3.55 g/t Au from 67m, 28m at 1.15 g/t Au from 20m, and 13m at 1.54 g/t Au from 44m. These results extend the known footprint of gold mineralisation beyond the current MRE, remaining open at depth and supporting further drilling to define the full extent of mineralisation. KalGold's CEO, Matt Painter, highlighted the potential of the Kirgella Gift and Providence gold deposits and the company's ongoing exploration efforts across the Pinjin Gold Project.
