Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX: MND) has announced the award of a significant construction contract with BHP, valued at approximately $200 million, for the Port Debottlenecking Project 2 (PDP2) at BHP's Nelson Point Port Facility in Port Hedland, Western Australia. The contract involves the installation and commissioning of structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation activities for the new Car Dumper 6 (CD6) and supporting materials handling facilities. Work is set to commence immediately and is expected to be completed in 2028. Monadelphous's Managing Director Zoran Bebic emphasized the contract award as a reflection of the company's strong customer value proposition, built on long-term relationships and a proven track record of delivery.
