Trek Metals Announces High-Grade Manganese Discovery at Kuro
- High-grade manganese assays confirm significant near-surface deposit
- Best result: 10m @ 42.3% Mn in hole 26XCRC020
- 15 out of 21 holes intersected manganese above a 5% Mn cut-off
- Induced Polarisation (IP) survey continues to identify high-grade targets
Trek Metals Ltd. has announced the first batch of assay results from the Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program at the Kuro manganese discovery in Western Australia. The results confirm the presence of a significant, high-grade, near-surface manganese system. The standout result is from hole 26XCRC020, which returned 10m at 42.3% Mn from 13m down-hole. Multiple high-grade intercepts were reported, with 15 out of 21 holes intersecting manganese above a 5% Mn cut-off. The company is continuing with Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical surveying to locate additional high-grade manganese targets beneath cover at Kuro.
Trek Metals is optimistic about the potential of the Kuro manganese discovery and is planning further exploration and drilling to assess the full extent of the mineralisation.
