AIC Mines Reports Positive Exploration Results at Iris and Eloise South
- Extensive copper mineralisation confirmed at Iris prospect
- High-grade gold intersected at Eloise South prospect
- Iris prospect shares geological characteristics with Jericho deposit
- Eloise South prospect shows significant gold potential
- Further drilling planned to test mineralisation extent
AIC Mines Limited (ASX: A1M) has announced new drilling results from the Eloise Regional exploration at the Iris and Eloise South prospects, both located near the Eloise copper mine in North Queensland. The Iris prospect has defined anomalous copper and gold mineralisation over a strike length of 1.5 kilometres, with significant results including 1.8m grading 1.1% Cu and 0.2g/t Au, and 7.7m grading 0.7% Cu and 0.2g/t Au. The Eloise South prospect, located 2 kilometres south of the Eloise copper mine, intersected high-grade gold mineralisation, with results including 3.2m grading 92.5g/t Au, including 1.2m grading 249g/t Au. The Iris prospect is geologically similar to the Jericho deposit, suggesting potential for high-grade copper shoots. Drilling at Eloise South highlights significant gold potential. Further drilling is planned at both prospects during the current field season.
